1965 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed Pickup 'survivor' Purchased new in
Gresham Oregon, this mostly original truck remained in the same family until
October 2011 when it was acquired. Truck was built at the Fremont, CA
plant in late 1964 (30-Nov-64) with 292 6-Cyl engine, 3-speed manual
transmission, custom seat, tinted glass, lock equipment, RV mirrors (removed)
and 'black' paint, and sold new by Fanning Chevrolet. Photos below were
provided by the seller. Paint and upholstery are original, rubber floor mat
appears to be original. Motor has never been opened for repair. The
truck still runs and drives 'like new', with 67,000+ miles showing on the
odometer. |
