To provide a forum in which to learn and apply the Linux OS through meetings and professional networking.  Informal meetings will take place on a monthly basis. Anyone, whether seasoned Linux veteran or lowest level beginner is welcome to become a member of LUGIE, and part of a local online community of Linux enthusiasts. The only requisite is the desire to expand and share  knowledge and experience of Linux with others of similar interests.  The Membership fee is currently $20 per year, but is currently suspended.   It includes all informal meetings and voting privileges on LUGIE matters.
